Most of us have left our bodies at some point, sometimes longer than others. It is a coping mechanism of disassociation when our nervous systems become overwhelmed.

 

But to be truly free, we must first return to the body. Because the body stores trauma - it remembers even when we don't. The journey starts with releasing its emotional - physical - energetic holding patterns. From there, it is a process of mending the relationship between form & spirit.

So before you criticize your aches & pains, take a moment to listen. They are merely calls for attention, for compassion, for care.

They are the clues to the moving as effortlessly as the tides, to being naturally yourself.
